Going
"above & beyond"
is simply how we do business. But, with the unpredictability
of events, even we are surprised at some of the things
we’ve pulled off (with a smile) for our clients
over the years!
• Coordinated an entire wedding
in less then 3 weeks so the bride and groom could be
married under the full moon on the evening of the spring
equinox.
• Acquired special permits so the bride's cherished Labradors could walk
down the aisle as the ring bearers
• Helped a bride find a wedding dress the week of her wedding, because the
one she ordered came in three sizes too big… and the wrong color!
• Set up an evening daycare for 16 kids complete with tv, dvd player, coloring
books, and babysitter so that guests could dance the night away worry-free.
• Ensured there were sheep grazing on the common in front of the church
so the bride could win a $100 bet she had with the maid of honor.
• Begged the General Manager of the hotel for his cuff links because the
best man forgot to pack his
• Held off the ceremony 30 minutes because the Justice of the Peace was
stuck in traffic….
• Pushed up the ceremony 30 minutes because the bride was having a panic
attack and would have passed out if we waited any longer!
• Found "magical" balloons that made a distraught flower girl
with stage fright invisible.
• Found alternate transportation for the wedding party from the church to
the reception facility because the limousine just dropped its transmission.
• Intricately fanfolded over 300 napkins, tying each with ribbon and a fresh
cut rose. (Sound easy? This task took 5 hours!)
• The morning of the wedding, purchased and printed 120 placecards because
the bride’s sister who just flew in from Florida forgot to pack them.
• Built a 4-tier cupcake tower to serve as the cakestand since you just
can’t buy these at the store
• For a 140-person fall wedding, tied a ribbon to each guest’s placecard,
then attached each to the stem of a mini pumpkin.
• Decorated a cake with flowers “stolen” from the centerpieces
because the florist forgot to bring them
• Shoveled the walkways covered in freshly fallen snow for guests’ safety.
• Convinced the groom that hiring someone to show up at the reception dressed
in a big yellow chicken suit and bribing the DJ to play the chicken dance in
lieu of your actual first dance is a really, really bad idea….
• Called 911 when a pregnant bridesmaid went into labor… 5 weeks
early!
• With the maid of honor, helped a bride hold up her ballroom-style gown
in the ladies room when mother nature called, because, well, this was one
thing she didn't consider when picking out her wedding dress.
